CryptoShift is operated by CryptoShift (Pty) Ltd, a South African registered company (Registration No: 2026/200476/07). Our website is located at https://www.cryptoshift.co.za. We operate as an affiliate partner of ChangeNOW, a non-custodial crypto exchange service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information to operate our service:

• Usage data — pages visited, time on site, device type, browser type, and referral source collected via Plausible Analytics (privacy-friendly, no cookies, no personal identifiers)
• Wallet addresses — when you initiate a swap, your wallet address is passed to ChangeNOW to process the transaction. We do not store this.
• Contact information — only if you contact us directly via email

We do NOT collect your name, ID number, physical address, or payment card details. We do NOT require account registration.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To operate and improve our website
• To understand how visitors use our platform
• To respond to enquiries
• To comply with legal obligations

4. Cookies

CryptoShift does not use tracking cookies. Our analytics are powered by Plausible Analytics which is cookieless and fully GDPR and POPIA compliant. No personal data is collected through analytics.

5. Third Party Services

When you initiate a swap, you are redirected to or interact with ChangeNOW's exchange widget. ChangeNOW operates under their own privacy policy available at changenow.io. We are not responsible for data collected by ChangeNOW during the swap process.

Our website uses Google Fonts for typography. Google may collect limited usage data in accordance with their privacy policy.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information where required by South African law, including SARS reporting obligations under the Crypto Asset Reporting Framework (CARF) where applicable.

7. POPIA Compliance

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect any information we process. Our website uses SSL/TLS encryption and is hosted on a secured server.
